O mnie:

My work is a means of following and investigating my feelings. These feelings are in turn cognitive tools, which aid me in peering beneath the veil of reality and exploring the realms of the collective and individual subconscious, right on the verge of what is seen and what remains hidden. The main subject of my works is nature, yet it is not nature itself that is being investigated – the object of focus are my personal relations with the natural world, as well as the influence of culture, society and human civilization on said relations. That is why symbols, rituals, myths, fairytales, pagan traditions and ancient beliefs remain the inherent elements of my research. I consider myself an extreme relativist and solipsist – I fixate on the hidden connections between beings, events and ideas, how they intermingle and influence one another. I am not an objective, distant observer, but a small, yet central part in this vast, tangled and dynamic network, which I then stretch and bend, reshape and expand – each painting or project forms a new node in the web. The nodes act as vantage points; they are my attempts to make this web my home, to carve out a place for myself in this complex world.
